A full morning in the snow capital! Take the Gulmarg Gondola Phase I to Kongdoori at 10,050 feet — the snow-covered pine forests below are breathtaking. The brave can continue to Phase II at Apharwat Peak (14,000 feet) for powder skiing and Himalayan panoramas. Activities: skiing, snowboarding, sledging, or a gentle snow trek. Warm up with hot Kahwa and Kashmiri kebabs before driving back to Srinagar in the evening.
